Breakthroughs in Neurology Conference
TheraSpecs exhibited at the American Academy of Neurology's Breakthrough in Neurology conference on January 23-25. The conference gave neurologists and other health care providers in-depth information on the most recent developments in treating MS, stroke, epilepsy, headache/migraine, geriatric neurology, and sleep disorders.
Our booth drew a lot of traffic and providers were excited to talk to us about the research behind TheraSpecs and the relief we've provided customers with a wide range of neurological conditions. Visitors were allured by a treatment that's without side effects and costs much less than most medical devices. The fact that TheraSpecs are a non-drug treatment appealed to them both because they could compliment any other treatment without fear of interaction and as an option for patients who prefer drug-free treatment.
Most of the attendees we talked to were general neurologists who treat all neurological disorders. Interestingly, many told us that headache and migraine comprises 30% to 40% of their practices. They were most interested in TheraSpecs for their headache and migraine patients, but we also heard a lot about their excitement to try TheraSpecs for patients with other conditions that are triggered by light or cause light sensitivity, like traumatic brain injury (TBI) and photosensitive epilepsy.
