Flex Peach and Flex Lavender do. They’re our lightest FL-41 lenses, filtering the wavelengths between 480 and 520nm that most aggravate light sensitivity. Flex Blue uses a different tint to filter between 580 and 640nm, designed to take the edge off flickering and pulsing lights.

Yes, Flex Peach and Flex Lavender filter blue light, including the 480-520nm range tied to light sensitivity. They also remove more blue light from a wider range of the spectrum than typical clear or nearly-clear blue light glasses. Flex Blue filters some blue light, though it’s designed mainly to take the edge off flickering lights.

Like all TheraSpecs lenses, Flex also blocks 100% UV light and features an anti-reflective coating to further enhance your comfort.

Our Flex lens comes in one strength with three color options: Peach, Lavender, and Blue. Flex Peach is the best all-around choice for everyday indoor light, and Flex Lavender trades some protection for an even less visible tint. Flex Blue takes the edge off flickering lights in a cool-toned tint.

Yes, Flex is light enough that it is legal to wear while driving at night in most jurisdictions under safe conditions. If headlights and other harsh light on the road are the problem, Flex Peach or Flex Lavender are what we recommend. Always check your local laws and do not wear Flex when the road is insufficiently lit or visibility is poor.

If you’re wanting greater visual clarity while driving at night, try Contrast HEV instead.

We recommend Flex if you are mildly sensitive to light and/or if you want all-day protection for screens and other artificial sources, all with a subtle tint. Flex can also be worn for night driving if headlights are a problem for you

For stronger FL-41 protection against artificial light, consider FL-Pro or FL-Blend. If you’re bothered by flickering or flashing lights and want more protection than Flex Blue offers, we recommend Z-Blue.
