Fluorescent lights are a bane of the modern workplace. They can trigger migraines and cause headaches, eyestrain and a general sense of feeling icky (technically known as malaise). We’re often asked if there’s a way to minimize the impact of fluorescent lights for people who need reading or computer glasses. Fortunately, the answer is yes!

We can either make you custom eyewear using our tint on your preferred prescription for reading or computer glasses or you can order one of our WearOver styles, which goes on right on top of your reading glasses. Original WearOver has the advantage of blocking light from above, below and to the sides of your eyes; Tatum WearOver is lighter weight while still providing excellent peripheral coverage. You can also wear them over any glasses, so they’re versatile even if your prescription strength changes. However, some people prefer the look of regular reading glasses with the TheraSpecs tint.
