TheraSpecs non-prescription lenses in our frames can be custom made to suit your needs. Our standard lenses are tinted with a 50% filter for indoor-tinted lenses and a 90% filter for outdoor-tinted lenses. This means that standard indoor TheraSpecs block 50% of all light and outdoor TheraSpecs block 90% of all light.

We offer three additional options for indoor lenses:

  • 20% blocking extra light for nighttime driving
  • 35% blocking extra light for something a little lighter than standard
  • 76% blocking extra dark lens, which is our darkest non-polarized option

We offer one additional option for outdoor lenses:

  • 96% blocking extra dark, polarized option. This is our darkest available lens and is considered too dark to wear while driving.

All TheraSpecs lenses contain therapeutic filtering properties designed to soothe conditions that are triggered or worsened by light.

Once your order is complete it may take approximately 3 weeks to be made at our lab. Just like with a standard, ready-to-ship TheraSpecs purchase, this specialty order is fully refundable* for up to 60 days. *Exception: We are not able to accept returns for extra-light or extra-dark TheraSpecs that have the anti-reflective/anti-smudge coating.
