​Run or Walk for Migraine Research and Advocacy This October

Migraine remains one of the most underfunded conditions for research in the United States, especially in light of its prevalence, but there are groups dedicated to fundraising and advocacy. One of those organizations is Runnin’ for Research, Inc., a non-profit “committed to headache and migraine research, awareness and advocacy” primarily through 5K events across the country, according to its website. It also reports that it has raised about $25,000 in support of its mission over the last two years.

On Saturday, October 8, 2016, you can help raise money by participating in a 5K run or noncompetitive one-mile walk in one of three different cities. Those who cannot attend in person but still wish to support the event can register as a “virtual runner.” Additional details for each race are below:
