Man Wearing TheraSpecs FL-Pro Lenses

Your game changer for artificial lights and digital device screens

The lens that started it all and that customers have loved for more than a decade, FL-Pro™ levels up your protection for artificial lighting like fluorescent lights, LEDs, and device screens. This rose-colored lens uses FL-41 to filter irritating wavelengths between 480-520nm, making it the perfect defense if your eyes are sensitive to light. If most types of light are hazards that can disrupt your day, try FL-Pro to help you stay in the moments that matter.

By controlling exposure to these wavelengths, FL-Pro may also help people to live well with migraine as part of an overall light management plan.

Frequently Asked Questions about FL-Pro

Does FL-Pro use FL-41?

Yes, our FL-Pro lenses use the FL-41 tint, which filters the most harmful wavelengths of light between 480-520nm. These are the wavelengths most responsible for aggravating sensitivity to light.

Does FL-Pro filter blue light?

Yes, our FL-Pro lenses filter most strongly between 480-520nm, which is in the blue-green spectrum. They also remove more wavelengths across a wide spectrum of blue light than typical clear- or nearly-clear blue light glasses.

Like all TheraSpecs lenses, FL-Pro also blocks 100% UV light and features an anti-glare coating to further enhance your comfort.

Is FL-Pro right for me?

We recommend FL-Pro TheraSpecs if you experience moderate or severe light sensitivity and/or if you want the strongest protection against artificial light, such as computer and device screens, fluorescent lights, and LEDs. With its advanced filtering properties, FL-Pro TheraSpecs can also help people to live well with migraine, as part of a light management plan.

If you're still not sure, you can answer a few questions and get instant recommendations from our lens assistant.

Can I get FL-Pro in my prescription or as readers?

Absolutely! You can get FL-Pro lenses with your prescription, or with reader correction. Simply tap/click on your preferred frame style above, choose either "Prescription" or "Reading Glasses" under Lens Correction, and complete the rest of the options before adding to your cart.

Is FL-Pro suitable for night driving?

No, FL-Pro TheraSpecs (all strengths) are too dark to use while driving at night. Instead, consider our Flex or Contrast HEV lens options.

What if FL-Pro does not work for me?

You have 60 days for returns or exchanges of all non-custom TheraSpecs, so you can make sure FL-Pro is the best option for your needs. If you are wanting prescription or reader TheraSpecs, we suggest starting with one of our fully-refundable fitover styles.
