Yes, FL-Sun is the only polarized TheraSpecs lens, which makes it effective for managing bright sunlight and harsh exterior glare. Like all TheraSpecs lenses, FL-Sun also blocks 100% UV light and features an anti-glare coating for added protection.

It is not recommended that you wear FL-Sun indoors as it could worsen any sensitivity to light over time. If you are wanting a lens option to wear inside—for screens, fluorescents, or other artificial light—try FL-Pro instead.

FL-Sun in Dark+ strength can be worn while driving during the day; however, FL-Sun in Ultradark+ strength is not suitable for driving and road use because it does not allow sufficient light transmission in all wavelengths of the spectrum for all color-perceiving activities.

No FL-Sun lens should be worn for driving at night. For night driving, consider our Flex or Contrast HEV lenses.
